Bayer Antifungal Spray Settlement – You May Be Owed

CLAIM DEADLINE: MARCH 11, 2026

Bayer Antifungal Spray Settlement – You May Be Owed Cash

If you purchased Lotrimin or Tinactin antifungal spray products at any point since 2015, you may qualify for a cash payment from a $4.85 million class action settlement.

What Is This Settlement About?

A class action lawsuit alleges that certain Bayer antifungal spray products sold in the United States were contaminated with benzene, a chemical linked to health risks when exposure occurs at elevated levels.

Bayer denies wrongdoing, but has agreed to a settlement to resolve the claims. No proof of injury is required to file a claim.

Who Is Eligible?

  • You live in the United States
  • You purchased one or more eligible Bayer antifungal spray products
  • Your purchase occurred on or after November 16, 2015
You do NOT need proof of purchase to file a claim. Proof allows higher reimbursement, but it is not required.

Eligible Products

The settlement covers recalled spray products including:

  • Lotrimin AF Athlete’s Foot Powder Spray
  • Lotrimin AF Deodorant Powder Spray
  • Lotrimin AF Liquid Spray
  • Lotrimin AF Daily Prevention Spray
  • Lotrimin Jock Itch Spray
  • Tinactin Athlete’s Foot Powder Spray
  • Tinactin Athlete’s Foot Liquid Spray
  • Tinactin Jock Itch Spray

Products affected were distributed between September 2018 and September 2021 and were part of Bayer’s October 2021 recall.

How Much Can You Get?

Reimbursement equal to the purchase price (excluding tax) for each eligible product.

Payments may be adjusted depending on total claims filed.
