A beauty budget has two different kinds of spending: the products you replace and the services you book. Putting them on separate lines makes it easier to see what is routine and what is an occasional treat. Plan around products you use and appointments you can comfortably afford.
Take a quick inventory before replacing products
Check what is open, what is nearly finished and what remains unused. Read product labels for storage and use instructions, and avoid buying another item simply because it resembles something already on the shelf.
Choose a realistic replacement list. Track actual use over time instead of assuming every bottle needs replacing each month. A smaller set of products you use consistently can be easier to budget for.
Price the whole appointment
Confirm what the service includes, its duration and the final booking cost. Ask about optional extras before agreeing to them. Include transportation and other costs relevant to the appointment.
