Build the weekend around the actual concert date

Put the event date on the calendar before considering other activities. Include the time needed to reach the city, check into the hotel and arrive at the venue. A two-night stay is a specific accommodation period, not a guarantee of several full days available for sightseeing.

Ask the person you would bring about availability and the practical journey. Both travelers may need to arrange time away from work or other responsibilities. A guest benefit does not settle those arrangements. Discuss the trip as a whole before assuming the event schedule works for both people.

Leave unconfirmed bookings marked pending. A prize sponsor may select the departure airport, flights and hotel conditions. Avoid buying a separate flight or extra night until the organizer confirms what is supplied and whether changes are allowed. Keep any approved change in writing with the itinerary.

This award includes an April 9–11, 2027 hotel stay at The Venetian and two VIBEE VIP Package Experiences for John Mayer at Sphere on April 10. The trip is tied to that schedule. It is not a general Las Vegas travel credit or a ticket allowance for a different performance.

A simple weekend outline can show arrival and hotel check-in on the first day, the concert commitment on the event day, and departure on the final day. Leave the actual flight times blank until confirmed. Add the expected travel time between each confirmed location before planning another activity. This helps both travelers see which hours are committed and which are genuinely available, without confusing an empty calendar space with a benefit supplied by the sponsor.

Read the package as separate travel benefits

List flights, room accommodation and admission separately. For each one, note what is confirmed, who arranges it and any conditions you still need clarified. A phrase such as VIP experience does not establish the exact seat, activities or access without the corresponding package description.

Ask about arrival and venue transportation. The trip from a destination airport to a hotel is different from the ride to a concert. If those components are not expressly included, leave them in the personal-expense column until the sponsor confirms otherwise. Avoid assuming that a hotel benefit includes every possible resort charge.

Set an allowance for meals and optional spending. A concert weekend can create many small decisions about food, shopping and additional entertainment. Decide what fits the household budget before filling the itinerary. Include the trip to and from your own departure airport as well.

The SiriusXM rules list coach air travel and allow a ground-transportation substitution for a winner living within 150 miles of the destination. They assign unlisted costs, including local transfers, hotel amenities, certain airline fees and meals, to the winner and guest. The $3,000 value is an approximate valuation, not a separate cash payment.

Keep event documents and personal costs organized

Store the itinerary, provider contacts and booking references together. Give the guest access to the schedule while keeping private account details secure. Follow the organizer’s instructions for supplying identification or signing documents. A public social-media message is not the right place for sensitive travel information.

Read the actual venue and ticket conditions when supplied. The entry process, permitted items and event rules can differ from another concert you attended. Use current instructions for this performance rather than assuming a previous experience establishes the rules for every show.

Ask before changing a sponsor-controlled reservation or adding an independently paid upgrade. The organizer may have a fixed itinerary, and a separate purchase may not be reimbursed if plans change. Keep any cancellation or event-change provisions with the confirmation so you understand what happens if a component becomes unavailable.

Keep a possible prize outside the money already committed to a trip. A random drawing cannot reserve a weekend for you or guarantee an award. If you would travel independently, compare that decision on its own costs rather than assuming a prize will later replace a nonrefundable purchase.

Check SiriusXM’s existing-subscriber cutoff before entering

This is not open to the general public. Entrants must be at least 21, reside in the 50 states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, and have a current active trial, paid or ad-supported SiriusXM subscription that existed on or before October 20, 2026. Signing up now does not meet that historical cutoff.

The guest must also be at least 21 at travel time. The rules include an additional restriction for someone who has won a SiriusXM prize valued over $600 in the six months before this promotion began. Review that condition and all employment/household exclusions before relying on eligibility.

A selected winner has a short claim process: required declarations and any tax form must be returned within one business day of notification. Monitor the telephone and email information supplied to the sponsor. Follow the actual notice rather than assuming there will be a long period to decide whether the fixed travel dates work.
