Class Action Settlement – CRT Manufacturers

The $33 Million CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) Class Action Settlement is a lawsuit that has been settled regarding certain CRT manufacturers, including Mitsubishi, LG, Philips, and others, who allegedly conspired to set high, monopolized prices for CRTs sold to consumers, leading to intentionally higher prices for TVs and computer monitors. The settlement is open to claims until June 13, 2023, and to qualify, you must be an individual or business that purchased CRT monitors or TVs indirectly from someone other than the direct manufacturer. The settlement covers various States and their respective purchase dates, ranging from March 1, 1995, to November 25, 2007.

To file a claim, you need to go here, and submit your claim form before the deadline. You do not need to provide any proof of purchase to receive a minimum payment of $10, and the maximum payment that will be distributed is capped at 3 times the estimated damages done to each person in this settlement. Payments will be made to qualified class action members who file a legitimate claim form on time, and the amount that each person gets paid will be determined by the total amount of valid claims filed and the types of CRT monitors or TVs to be reimbursed. Payments will be made through PayPal, Venmo, or mailed check.
