Separate the ticket from the trip
Make a list of admission, transport, lodging and meals before comparing offers. A ticket alone does not pay for getting to the venue or staying overnight.
Record which costs are included and which remain yours. Keep optional upgrades in a separate column so you can compare the basic trip fairly.
Check dates before making commitments
Match the event date with realistic arrival and departure times. Read the cancellation and change terms before buying any nonrefundable travel.
If other people are coming, agree on the total budget and who will make each reservation. Check identification and age requirements directly with each provider.
Use rewards after they are available
A redeemed gift card can help with an eligible planned purchase. Check the merchant, delivery method and accepted payment options before counting it toward a booking.
Do not base a reservation on a pending survey balance or an unconfirmed prize. Keep a record of what you have actually received.

This is the April 16–November 8 Find the Cap’n campaign, separate from the earlier Mystery Crunch promotion. Travel must be redeemed within 12 months of notification, subject to availability and blackout dates. Guests must be 13+ unless the winner is their parent/guardian; the rental-car driver must satisfy the stated 25+ requirement. The official rules explain winner verification and all travel conditions.
