A home-project gift card is easiest to use with a specific shopping list. Separate the supplies needed for the project from optional upgrades, then compare the complete checkout total with funds and rewards already available.
Build the list around the actual project
Write down the surfaces or items involved and the supplies you already own. Use the manufacturer’s instructions to identify compatible preparation products, tools and finishes for the work you intend to do.
