The holidays are about to hit full glam—because Macy’s is celebrating its 100th Thanksgiving Day Parade with a nationwide sweepstakes that blends classic holiday magic with instant gratification. Imagine flying to New York City with your family, front-row seats at the most iconic parade on Earth, and a $5,000 Macy’s shopping spree with your own personal stylist. That’s the grand prize, but it doesn’t stop there. You could also instantly win Star Rewards points and gift card-style Star Money in the Instant Win Game.
This nationwide promotion, run by Macy’s Corporate Services and powered by Merkle (the same administrator behind A-list brand sweepstakes like Coca-Cola and Starbucks), is both a sweepstakes and an instant win game—so yes, you have daily chances to score prizes. Here’s exactly how it works and how to play like a pro.
PRIZE BREAKDOWN
The Macy’s 100th Parade Sweepstakes has a total prize pool worth $25,500, with opportunities ranging from luxury travel to instant digital rewards.
Grand Prize: One lucky winner will snag a $13,500 trip for four to New York City for the 2026 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The package includes round-trip airfare, three nights of hotel accommodations, and a $5,000 Macy’s shopping spree with a personal stylist (fulfilled via gift cards).
Runner-Up Prizes (10 Winners): Each runner-up gets a $500 Macy’s shopping spree with a personal stylist—also fulfilled through gift cards.
Instant Win Prizes (1,200 Total):
- 200 Winners: Receive $10 in Star Money (1,000 Macy’s Star Rewards points)
- 1,000 Winners: Score 500 Macy’s Star Rewards points
Star Money and points expire 30 days after being issued, and can be used at Macy’s stores or online at macys.com (with some exclusions).
WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH THE PRIZE IF YOU WIN
If you land the grand prize, you’re about to live your best holiday-movie moment. You’ll fly to New York City just in time for Thanksgiving, where you’ll see the Macy’s 100th Parade up close—think giant Snoopy balloons, Broadway performances, and confetti galore. Your hotel will be covered for three nights, and you’ll get to go on a $5,000 shopping spree with a Macy’s personal stylist helping you curate luxury looks. Whether you’re upgrading your winter wardrobe, splurging on fragrance, or gifting loved ones designer finds, that spree can transform your holiday season.
If you win a runner-up or instant prize, you’ll still walk away with something to celebrate. Star Money can instantly be spent on fashion, beauty, or home finds—no waiting around. Regulars who already shop Macy’s know how quickly those points turn into savings, so it’s a chance to stretch your buying power for gifts or glam.
This sweepstakes is basically your ticket to holiday indulgence without spending a dime. Plus, because there’s an Instant Win Game component, you can check in daily for chances to win on the spot.
