A $1 million cash prize is coming! Microsoft Rewards has released rules for its $2 million Total Prize Drop, combining a sweepstakes with thousands of instant prizes.
Save the date: October 29, 2026 at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT. This is an advance preview; entry is not open yet.
What can you win?
- 1 grand prize: $1 million cash.
- 2 first prizes: a $175,000 budget toward an eligible Mercedes-Benz. This is not an unrestricted cash prize.
- 3,321 instant prizes: gift cards, gaming gear, computers and other electronics, totaling $650,000.
The combined $2 million prize pool is shared internationally. For example, the instant-prize list includes 1,500 $50 and 750 $100 Microsoft Store or Xbox gift cards.
How entry will work when it opens
- Visit Microsoft’s promotion and sign in to a free Microsoft Rewards account.
- Complete registration using your legal name and contact details; phone verification may be required.
- Follow the qualifying Bing-search instructions to earn a daily instant-win chance, then reveal the result that same day.
Registration and qualifying daily searches also earn drawing entries. Rewards-point redemptions and a postal no-purchase method provide additional drawing entries; the combined limit is 636. The instant game allows one prize per person.
Check the right eligibility rules
The drawing covers the US/DC/Puerto Rico, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Japan and South Africa. The instant game also includes South Korea and mainland China. You must meet your jurisdiction’s age-of-majority requirement. Mexico has an additional purchase-related eligibility caveat in the rules.
