A modified truck needs a complete ownership plan. Before focusing on accessories, work through collection, transport, parking and the recurring costs of keeping the actual vehicle ready to use.

How does this find feel?

Start with the cost of taking possession

A vehicle’s headline value is different from the cash needed to bring it home. Write down the collection location, the transport plan and the payments you would need before driving it. Include any travel or overnight arrangements separately.

If you plan to hire a transporter, compare written quotes for the actual vehicle dimensions. A modified truck can require a different loading or clearance plan from a standard passenger vehicle.

Check dimensions before choosing storage

Measure the vehicle’s height, width and length against the places where you expect to park it. Check the practical space needed for access and loading, rather than assuming the vehicle fits because another truck does.

Keep the model and modification details together. Those details help a service provider assess equipment, transport and maintenance needs without relying only on a photograph.

Build a realistic running-cost list

Separate recurring expenses from one-time collection costs. Fuel, routine servicing, tires and suitable storage belong in the ownership plan. Ask providers about the actual vehicle instead of comparing only a stock model.

Use written estimates where possible and note what each estimate excludes. A small worksheet makes it easier to compare a few realistic ownership arrangements before committing to extra purchases.

Keep the records with the vehicle

Save the handover documents, service records and details of installed parts in one folder. When something needs attention, exact part information can be more useful than a broad description of the build.

For a used vehicle, arrange an independent mechanical assessment when available and review the condition information carefully. The FTC’s used-car guide explains why a vehicle-history report is not a substitute for an inspection.

More prize & drawing details

Drawing on or about November 9, 2026; notification by phone, email and/or USPS. Follow the three-business-day contact deadline and five-day document-return requirements. Canadian potential winner must answer the sponsor’s skill-testing question without assistance. Vehicle is awarded as is, without a sponsor warranty; winner handles pickup and unlisted costs. The body of the current official rules values the prize at $70,000, while a generic site footer says $90,000; this article uses the controlling $70,000 prize provision. The rules use inconsistent EDT/EST labels but expressly close AMOE at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on November 8. Free packs normally carry 300 entries and announced bonus multipliers may apply; do not exceed one free pack per day.

Full entry limit: One free AMOE pack daily, normally 300 entries. Requires a photo showing your driver’s license and a correctly handwritten 3-by-5-inch card together. Submit personally; no purchase required.

Eligibility: Contiguous U.S./DC or Canada excluding Quebec; 18+ and local age of majority. Licensed driver. Ineligible if you or anyone in your immediate household won ANY sweepstakes or contest prize in the previous 12 calendar months.
