What can you win in the Office Depot Turns 40 Giveaway?

Each prize is a $40 Office Depot OfficeMax Merchandise Card. The giveaway offers 40 prizes per week for three weeks—120 prizes in total, with a combined approximate retail value of $4,800.

These are merchandise cards, not $40 cash payments. They are not transferable or redeemable for cash, and any applicable card restrictions still apply. The 120-prize figure covers the entire promotion; it is not a live count of prizes remaining.

Each entry period begins at 12:00 AM ET and ends at 11:59 PM ET on the dates below:

The last period ends on Saturday, October 24—not Sunday. It is six days long, so do not wait until the following day to enter.

Each drawing uses eligible entries received during its own weekly period. Submit a fresh entry during each new period if you want to participate in that week’s drawing.

How to enter the Office Depot giveaway for free

1. Open the official Office Depot giveaway page.
2. Look for the Office Depot OfficeMax Turns 40 promotion and complete its entry form with the information requested.
3. Check your details, particularly your email address, and submit the completed form before that weekly period closes.
4. Return during the next entry period for another eligible entry. Limit one entry per participant per weekly period.

No purchase or payment is necessary. The official entry method is the online form; the rules do not require a social-media follow, purchase receipt or store visit. Enter manually—automated or duplicate-entry methods are prohibited.

Who is eligible to enter?

The giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., who have reached the age of majority in their state of residence. You must also be located in the 50 states or D.C. when entering.

Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands are excluded. Employees, officers and directors of the sponsor and other businesses involved in the promotion, along with specified immediate family and household members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited; the official rules control eligibility.

How are winners selected and notified?

Office Depot plans to select 40 potential winners in each weekly random drawing. Drawings take place approximately two business days after the applicable entry period ends. Your odds depend on how many eligible entries are received.

Watch your email, including your spam folder. Potential winners must respond in full as requested within 48 hours of the sponsor’s attempted notification, or the prize may be forfeited. A selection is subject to eligibility verification; entering does not guarantee a prize.

If you win: paperwork and merchandise-card delivery

The rules say merchandise cards will be mailed approximately six to eight weeks after the applicable weekly drawing. Keep the mailing information supplied to the sponsor accurate.

If requested, an eligibility affidavit and liability/publicity release must be returned within 14 days of the date on the prize notification. That paperwork deadline is separate from the initial 48-hour response requirement; do not wait 14 days to answer a winner email.

Winners are responsible for applicable taxes and any expenses not included with the prize. The sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value as permitted by the rules.
