You just need to be 18+ and in the US to jump in, and there’s no purchase required.

How (and Why) to Enter Daily

1. Head to the official promotion site on your phone or computer.
2. Sign up using your email and a few bits of personal info—takes about a minute.
3. Come back every day (through July 23, 2026) and log in to “play” the instant win game for your shot at a prize—then get entered into the sweepstakes grand prize pool, too!

You’re limited to one instant win play and one sweepstakes entry per day (per person/email). That’s 29 total chances if you start on day one, but you can start any time before the deadline.

Who Should Take a Look?

If you’re the kind of person who:

• Can’t pass up the lure of a daily freebie
• Has a garden (or wishes they did)
• Loves gift cards for stuff you’d buy anyway (or as gifts!)
• Wouldn’t mind hosting the ultimate backyard bash with zero out-of-pocket cost

This sweepstakes is age 18+ and open in all 50 US states and DC—not open elsewhere and void where prohibited.

What to Know Before You Click

• No purchase is needed, and buying Scotts products won’t help your odds.
• Only one instant win prize and one sweepstakes prize per person, so if you get lucky, count yourself in rare company.
• If you win, watch your email—you have only 2 days to respond and claim your prize!
• The grand prize winner for the ultimate backyard will need to fill out a W-9 and get a 1099 tax form. Smaller prizes don’t require this step.
• Be honest: one person/email/entry per day. Multiple emails or sneaky daily entries can disqualify you.

Possible Catches & Smart Tips

• If you use a spam blocker or have strict inbox filters, whitelist emails from the sponsor so you don’t miss a win notice.
• Prizes are only shipped within the US and DC; no P.O. boxes allowed for delivery addresses.
• If you win both an instant prize and the big sweepstakes, lucky you—both can be claimed. Just not more than one of each prize type per person.
• The instant win odds depend on when you play vs. when the prizes “drop” each day, so mixing up your entry time might help, but there’s no magic hour.
• Rules say mobile data charges may apply if you’re not on Wi-Fi.

Freebie Mom Take: Is This Worth Your Time?

This one stands out for two reasons: it’s easy to play daily with minimal effort, and the odds are a lot friendlier than in those massive sweepstakes with millions of entries. Plus, even if you miss the big backyard blowout, the sheer number of instant win gift cards (195 total) makes your daily clicks feel genuinely worthwhile. It’s the kind of promo I’d set a reminder for if you like guaranteed fun breaks and a legit shot at summer upgrades.
