Walmart+ Refund for Sam’s Club Plus Members: How to Link

Paying for both Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus? You may be due a refund. Starting October 20, 2026, Walmart+ is included with an eligible primary Sam’s Club Plus membership after you link your accounts. Eligible members already paying for both can receive a prorated Walmart+ refund.

The important catch: this requires Sam’s Club Plus—not the basic Club membership. It is not a guaranteed full refund of your annual Walmart+ fee. Your eligibility and amount depend on your membership and payment history.

How to link your accounts and check your refund

Open Walmart’s membership page using the button below. Sign in to the Walmart account associated with your Walmart+ membership.
Choose the option to link your existing Sam’s Club membership. You can also find the linking option under Manage membership on Walmart.com.
Sign in to your primary Sam’s Club Plus account. Make sure you are connecting the correct accounts.
Review the refund, any charge and renewal details before confirming. If you already pay for both, use the existing-member linking flow rather than buying another membership.
Complete the link if the terms work for you. Linking starts any eligible refund automatically; a separate refund request is not required. Walmart first attempts the original payment method and will notify you if another approved method is needed.

How much is the Walmart+ refund?

There is no single refund amount for everyone. Walmart says eligible members who link within the first year of the benefit’s launch may receive a refund based on qualifying Walmart+ payments from the later of October 20, 2026, or when they began paying for both memberships.

The calculation depends on your plan, payments and linking date. This does not mean all past Walmart+ fees will be returned, and we have not verified a fixed processing time.

Don’t have Sam’s Club Plus yet?

Already a primary Plus member? Activate the included Walmart+ benefit by linking. There is no additional Walmart+ membership charge.
Have a basic Club membership? A paid upgrade to Plus is required. Review your account’s upgrade price first.
Have only an annual Walmart+ membership? Moving to the combined plan involves a prorated upgrade calculation—not the same refund situation as already paying for both.
New to both? The combined annual membership is $120 per year, plus applicable tax. It automatically renews and has no free trial.

Check these exclusions before switching

The included Walmart+ membership is for the primary Plus member; complimentary and add-on Sam’s Club members do not receive a separate included Walmart+ membership. Complimentary, partner-paid and discounted Walmart+ plans can have different eligibility and refund terms. Switching may also end existing partner benefits, such as certain credit-card statement credits. Check your account’s details before making a change.
