What can you win? 39 Costco Shop Card prizes

Total prize value: $15,000. These are Shop Cards, not cash payments. The 39-prize count covers the full promotion, including earlier entry periods; it is not a promise that all 39 prizes remain available when you enter.

There may be fewer than 39 different winners because one person can win one weekly prize plus one grand prize or first prize. Costco is not the sponsor or administrator.

How to enter without a purchase

The no-purchase option is a mail-in entry—not a receipt-free online signup.

1. Clearly hand-print your name, complete mailing address, email address and phone number on a sheet of paper.
2. Place that sheet in its own addressed envelope with appropriate postage.
3. Mail it to the address below. Send each entry separately.

Final mail-in deadlines: Entries must be postmarked between September 21 and November 16, 2026, and received by November 23, 2026. Earlier prize periods have earlier deadlines; see the schedule below.

You may submit up to 50 separately mailed entries if you use only this method. If you also use receipt entries or bonuses, those count toward the same 50-entry cap. No product purchase is required, but envelopes and postage are your responsibility.

How to enter online with a qualifying Costco receipt

Already buying an eligible product? The receipt-upload route accepts purchases made at Costco or Costco.com from September 21 through November 16, 2026:

1. Keep your original, itemized receipt showing the store, purchase date and qualifying product.
2. Take a clear photo or screenshot in JPG or PNG format, no larger than 5 MB.
3. Visit the official Youtheory sweepstakes page, complete the requested contact details and upload the receipt.
4. Follow the submission prompts and keep the original receipt in case it is requested for verification.

Do not submit the same receipt twice. Each receipt must be unique; receipt reprints are not accepted. The online form is not the no-purchase entry route.

Bonus entries and the 50-entry limit

50 entries per person total is the limit across purchase entries, mailed entries and every bonus combined. It does not reset with each prize period.

The official entry page explains the qualifying-product bonuses this way: one product earns one entry, two products earn three entries, and three products earn eight entries. The rules cap bonus purchase entries at seven; additional qualifying products beyond three earn one purchase entry per product.

There are also two possible social bonuses: one entry for following @youtheory on Instagram and one for following @youtheoryofficial on TikTok. Complete the sponsor’s social actions on its registration page so they can be credited. Simply following an account does not replace the mail-in instructions.

Keep a tally of entries earned, not just receipts submitted. A receipt with multiple qualifying products can earn more than one entry. The rules state that all entry methods have an equal chance of winning.

Youtheory sweepstakes deadlines and drawing dates

The promotion runs from September 21 through November 16, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM ET. There are eight $500 prize drawings plus a final drawing for the $5,000 grand prize and thirty $200 prizes.

All dates below are in 2026. The first column is the entry-period closing date and corresponding mail-in postmark deadline. Drawings take place on or about the listed dates.

Grand prize and $200 cards: The final entry and postmark deadline is November 16; mailed entries must arrive by November 23. The final drawing is scheduled for approximately November 24.

Non-winning entries roll forward to subsequent first-prize drawings when applicable under the rules. That does not create new entries or reset the 50-entry cap. Mail early and consult the official schedule for the period you want to enter.

Who is eligible, and how are winners contacted?

Entrants must be legal residents of the 50 United States or Washington, D.C., age 18 or older when entering. The promotion is void outside the eligible area and where prohibited. Sponsor and administrator employees, specified immediate family members and household members are excluded.

Potential winners are contacted by email and/or phone and must respond within five days. The grand-prize winner must return the required eligibility and release paperwork within five days, including tax documentation if applicable.

Winners are responsible for applicable taxes and unspecified expenses. Shop Cards are subject to Costco’s terms; prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries in each drawing.
