A confirmed example, with a sold-out warning
Barnes & Noble Union Square in New York lists its event for November 14 at 3 p.m., with free registration and one holiday LEGO kit under its ticket conditions. Its listing describes the activity as ideal for ages 4–10 and welcomes other LEGO enthusiasts. That specific event showed sold out when checked November 6.
The image above is Union Square’s announcement, not a promise of that time at every store. Use your own store’s event page to make a plan. The Paramus store page and Hadley store page are other official places to check local calendars.
Before taking the kids
Check whether the reservation is for a child, an adult-and-child pair or each attendee. Take the registration confirmation with you and arrive according to the organizer’s instructions. If anything is unclear, call the store before traveling rather than guessing from another location’s requirements.
Plan for the small pieces on the trip home. A reusable container you already own can keep a finished model together, and saving the instructions makes it easier to rebuild later. Follow the kit’s age guidance and keep small parts away from younger children.
This is an in-store activity, not a free LEGO set mailed to your home. Freebie Mom cannot reserve a kit, reopen a full session or confirm walk-in space. The official local organizer controls attendance and available supplies.
