FREE Butterball Buddy: November Drops at 1 PM ET
- Ends
- November 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET
Butterball is giving away FREE Butterball Buddies—and the first drop starts November 2 at 1 PM Eastern! This little turkey-shaped device gives Thanksgiving guests helpful prompts, so the host does not have to ask everyone to pitch in. After the holiday, it doubles as a kitchen timer.
Only 275 are available per drop. The first eligible people to submit valid claims receive one, subject to verification. This is a first-come freebie drop, rather than a random drawing. No purchase is necessary.
Butterball Buddy drop dates: November 2026

What is a Butterball Buddy?
The Butterball Buddy is a blue, turkey-shaped notification device. Guests pass it around during the gathering; its chime, vibration and prompts suggest ways to help with hosting tasks. It is designed to make sharing the work part of the day. The device also has a kitchen-timer function for later use.
This offer is for the device, not a free turkey. Each Buddy has a stated retail value of $15. Butterball is offering up to 825 across the three releases, and unclaimed units do not roll into the next window.
Who can claim one?
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., age 18 or older, subject to the sponsor’s exclusions. No purchase, receipt or product code is required. Validated devices are mailed by the sponsor or administrator; the rules do not require a checkout payment or state a separate shipping charge.
Do not wait until the listed closing day. Each window closes as soon as its 275 valid claims have been successfully received and verified, or at its scheduled deadline, whichever happens first. These limited releases may not remain available for the full window.
