Free Food Deals This Week: Burgers, Cookies & More (Sept. 14–20, 2026)
Cookies in your pajamas, a free mini cake, and a pirate-themed food stop? There are plenty of fun ways to eat for less this week! This free food deals this week guide separates no-purchase giveaways from app offers and paid specials, so you can see exactly what each stop requires.
Offer information checked September 13, 2026. This calendar starts Monday, September 14. Check your participating location and the displayed coupon before traveling or ordering.
Free Food Deals Calendar: September 14–20, 2026
Pick your day, check the requirements, then tap a restaurant name for its full details and official offer button. Free-with-purchase and BOGO offers require spending money.
Participating locations only. Account eligibility, purchase requirements, opening hours and promotional supply limits apply. Confirm your coupon before ordering.
1. Free Food With No Purchase
Insomnia Cookies: Free Classic Cookie in Pajamas
Make this your late-night treat stop: wear pajamas to a participating bakery during the event window. No purchase is needed. Limit one cookie per person; Deluxe cookies are excluded. Check local closing time. Official PJ Party details.
Nothing Bundt Cakes: Free Confetti Bundtlet
Arrive early for this first-come giveaway. Claim your cake in person; online and phone orders do not qualify. One per guest, no purchase required, while promotional supplies last. Opening hours vary. The brand’s 2026 campaign details reported by QSR.
Long John Silver’s: Talk Like a Pirate Day Freebies
A little pirate spirit can get you a free bite! The 2026 promotion is covered in QSR’s September 11 report. Choose one offer per person at participating locations, while supplies last. Grilled items, cod and drinks are excluded; the dated offer report lists these limits. Confirm participation with your restaurant before setting sail.
2. Free With an App or Qualifying Purchase
Dairy Queen: Free Single Original Cheeseburger
This is the single Original Cheeseburger Signature Stackburger, not a double burger. Redeem through the DQ app or website at participating U.S. locations. A new account’s offer may take 24 hours to appear, so sign up ahead of your visit.
McDonald’s: Free Medium Fries With $1+ Purchase
Apply the fries deal before paying. McDelivery is excluded. First-time app users also have a separate offer for free 10-piece McNuggets with their first $1+ purchase, once through the end of the month. That offer requires Rewards opt-in and may take up to 48 hours to appear. Read your account’s terms; do not assume separate offers can be combined.
Burger King: 7 Days of Deals, September 14–20
Use Royal Perks and activate the day’s offer in the BK app or on BK.com. The six free-item days require a $3 minimum purchase. Tuesday’s BOGO requires buying a Whopper Jr.; it is not a no-purchase freebie.
September 2026 lineup reported by Slickdeals. Local availability and app terms apply.
Starbucks: Free Drink Customization on September 14
This is a free customization, not a free drink. Buy a handcrafted beverage and apply your Free Mod Monday coupon at checkout, or tell your barista before paying. Check your app coupon for eligible add-ons and the maximum covered amount. Participating stores only; this benefit cannot be combined with other Rewards. Official Rewards benefit terms.
3. National Cheeseburger Day Specials
Friday, September 18 is the big burger day. In addition to the qualifying-purchase offers above, these two restaurants have dated specials:
MOOYAH: BOGO Burger App Deal
MOOYAH’s current homepage advertises its September 18 BOGO burger deal. Check your app for eligible burgers, participating locations and the redemption instructions before ordering. BOGO means a burger purchase is required.
Applebee’s: $8.99 Classic Burger and Fries
Order dine-in, through Applebee’s website or in its app at participating locations. No promo code is required. Third-party delivery orders are excluded; this is a paid meal special, not a free burger.
4. BOGO and Low-Cost Food Deals
7-Eleven: $1.99 Bring Your Own Cup Slurpee
Bring a clean, watertight, leak-proof container and fill it with a Slurpee flavor for $1.99. It must stand upright within the store’s 10-inch cutout and fit under the dispenser. This is a bring-your-own-container deal, not a free drink or included souvenir cup.
Wendy’s: $1.99 for 10-Piece Nuggets With Purchase
Add the qualifying purchase and apply the digital coupon in the Wendy’s app. The nuggets cost $1.99; they are not free. Check your selected restaurant and the offer’s checkout terms.
Papa Johns: BOGO Large Pizza With Code BOGO4U
Sign in to Papa Rewards and check the offer in the official app or website. Clark Deals’ September 11 report confirms the code and September 21 end date. Verify both pizzas and the discount in your cart before paying; additional toppings, crust upgrades, tax and delivery charges may cost extra.
Olive Garden: Never-Ending Pasta Bowl From $14.99
Build your pasta-and-sauce combination, then enjoy refills in the restaurant. Soup or salad and breadsticks accompany the adult entrée; protein toppings can cost extra. The official page confirms the starting price and dine-in refill restriction, and current September reporting confirms the November 22 end date.
How to Redeem Restaurant Deals Without Surprises
- Check the date and time. Bakery opening and evening events are not interchangeable.
- Join rewards early. Some new-account coupons take a day or two to arrive.
- Apply your coupon before checkout. Confirm the free item or discount appears in the total.
- Budget for the whole order. Purchase requirements, tax, delivery fees and upgrades can change what you spend.
- Check your location. Ask about participation before making a special trip.
Pick a few stops near places you already need to go. A free snack is more fun when you do not spend extra gas or buy food you did not want just to qualify!
