Fixed or narrow travel windows matter more than an attractive advertised value. Do not describe it as an unrestricted voucher that can be used whenever the winner prefers.

Read hotel credits, deposits and additional charges separately

A hotel credit is a benefit for eligible charges, not the same thing as spending cash. Check which outlets participate, whether charges must be posted to the room and when unused value expires. A package can contain more than one credit with different exclusions. Keep each allowance on a separate line instead of combining them into a fictional universal dining budget.
