The complete Freebie Mom guide
Love Shape Tape? Tarte is giving up to 31 people a $140 eGift Card in its October Shape Tape A Day Giveaway. That is the brand’s year-of-concealer prize: money toward four Shape Tape products, with a tax allowance included.
Each selected winner receives an electronic gift certificate intended to cover four Shape Tape products plus a tax allowance. Up to 31 entrants may receive the prize, and no purchase is required to participate.
What the Tarte Shape Tape prize includes
Prize: $140 electronic gift certificate for a year of Shape Tape (four products plus tax allowance)
Value: $140 each; $4,340 total prize value
The certificate represents $124 for four Shape Tape products and $16 for taxes. It is an electronic gift certificate rather than $140 in cash, a free sample, or a recurring shipment. Winners can use it to purchase Shape Tape during the year.
Total winners: 31
Because the stated total value covers all available prizes, each winner receives one certificate at the individual value shown above. The full prize pool should not be confused with the amount awarded to one person.
How to enter the October giveaway
Visit Tarte’s dedicated sweepstakes landing page during the promotion period and follow the displayed instructions. New text subscribers must complete the text-marketing signup. People who already subscribe to Tarte’s messages can text WIN to 827831.
The signup involves recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing messages from Tarte. Consent is not required to make a purchase, but message and data rates may apply. Message frequency can vary, and subscribers can use STOP to cancel or HELP for assistance.
Entry limit: One entry per person total during October 2026
Submitting the form more than once or using additional email addresses does not create extra eligible entries. This is a one-and-done entry for the entire promotion period, even though drawings occur on multiple Mondays.
Who is eligible to participate
Eligibility: 18+, USA & DC; 19+ in AL and NE, 21+ in MS. Employee/family/household exclusions apply.
The age threshold depends on the entrant’s state of residence, so entrants in Alabama, Nebraska, and Mississippi should pay particular attention to the state-specific minimums. The promotion is not open in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or outside the United States.
Tarte employees and the excluded family or household members described in the rules cannot enter. Everyone else should confirm that their information is accurate before submitting, since potential winners must be verified before receiving a prize.
When the sweepstakes closes
Deadline: Oct 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM ET
The promotion runs during October, with random drawings scheduled on Mondays beginning October 5. Those drawing dates do not create separate entry periods and do not extend the final deadline. If a scheduled Monday is a Tarte holiday, the drawing may move to the next non-holiday date.
Do not submit a new entry for each drawing: the October limit remains one per person. The number of eligible entries determines the odds, so entry does not guarantee a prize.
Watch closely for a winner notification
Potential winners may be contacted by email, phone, Instagram, or TikTok. After entering, monitor the contact methods connected to the information you submitted, including spam or filtered-message folders.
A selected entrant must claim the prize within 48 hours. Missing that response window, failing eligibility verification, or receiving an undeliverable notification can result in disqualification. Tarte may then choose an alternate winner through another random drawing.
Be cautious with unexpected messages. The legitimate prize is the electronic gift certificate described in the official rules, and the sweepstakes does not require a purchase. Check the sender and compare any claim instructions with Tarte’s official promotion information before responding.
What to remember before entering
Tarte October Shape Tape A Day Giveaway is straightforward once its title is separated from its actual entry rule: enter one time, then keep an eye on your messages. It is not a daily-entry sweepstakes, and “for a year” describes the intended supply of four Shape Tape products rather than monthly deliveries.
Complete the appropriate text step based on whether you are a new or current subscriber, follow any confirmation prompts Tarte provides, and remain alert for a time-sensitive notification. With only 48 hours available to claim, checking messages is the most important follow-up after the entry is finished.
